Patient Transporter - Part-time- Troy, Michigan

The Patient Transporter will transport patients between home and doctor’s office or designated location using care and compassion ensuring the safety of passenger.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Patient Transporter will transport patients as per schedule.
• Assist patients upon entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Ensure patient is transported to the correct location/address.
• Use care and compassion when dealing with patients.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Clean, safe, current driver’s license
• Ability to drive and operate a vehicle in a safe manner
• Assist patients with care and compassion
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to push, pull and operate equipment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Prior patient transporter experience preferred

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good organizational skills; confidentiality; excellent interpersonal skills; positive interaction in dealing with patients.

· Must properly control the release of proprietary and confidential information.
