About the Senior Software Engineer Role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep technical expertise to build and maintain complex systems and drive continuous improvement across the full-stack. In this role, this person will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and execute on improvements to significantly improve the capabilities of your product area. This person will mentor junior engineers and help define standards for technical excellence on your team.
The Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high quality systems with excellent reliability and scalability
• Work in multi-functional teams to lead and deliver enhancements to our full-stack systems in an agile setting
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical designs and project plans
• Review code developed by other engineers, and provide feedback to ensure best practices and uphold high standards for quality
• Conduct design and code reviews and provide feedback to peers and junior team members, upholding high standards for code quality
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5 or more years of work experience as a Software Engineer
• Expertise in modern JavaScript Libraries & Frameworks such as React.js, Redux.js, Node.js, and Express.js
• Experience working with AWS including Lambda, SQS, and S3
• Experience with designing and scaling Document Databases, preferably MongoDB
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha
• Strong communication abilities and skilled in collaborative problem-solving
• Must be willing to work extended hours if needed
• Valid work authorization required
