Job Summary:

As an IT Architect at JEGS Performance, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing our IT infrastructure to support our business operations and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our systems. Your expertise will drive innovation and efficiency, enabling us to maintain our competitive edge in the market.

You will:

• Design and develop IT architectures that align with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Plan, implement, and maintain robust and scalable IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Ensure the security and compliance of IT systems and data through the implementation of appropriate security measures and protocols.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to enhance efficiency, performance, and innovation within the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and provide strategic guidance on technology-related matters.
• Evaluate vendor products and services, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and value for the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, architectures, configurations, and procedures.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) as an IT architect or similar role in a complex IT environment.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Proficiency in architectural design tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work across teams and departments.
• Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
