ABOUT THE POSITION:
JCDS seeks candidates for a full-time, in-person, Coordinator of the Middle School, for the
2024-2025 school year. The Coordinator of the Middle School will serve as a strategic thought
partner for the Associate Head of School and other members of the Educational Leadership
Team, and will collaborate closely with the faculty and staff. The Coordinator will collaborate
with the Associate Head of School, overseeing the Middle School’s educational program,
including the mission, culture, traditions, and commitment to intentional pluralism. The
Coordinator of the Middle School must also establish and uphold clear standards and high
expectations while forming positive and trusting relationships with students, colleagues and
parents. Candidates should possess a commitment to upholding Jewish values. The candidate
should possess excellent communication, organization and class management skills and
should demonstrate a desire to work collaboratively with colleagues in the classroom to create
a joyful, Jewish learning community.
This is an in-person, full-time position starting in July 2024 and will report to the Associate Head
of School for Learning & Teaching. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with relevant
work experience and qualifications.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include dexterity for office machine/supply operation, including but not limited
to computers, telephones, electronic calculators, copy machines, and printers. Stooping,
bending, reaching for files or supplies, and sitting or standing for extended periods are common.
