Job Summary:

Electronic Technician reports directly to the Production Supervisor and performs electronic repairs on MRI Coils.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In addition to various tasks assigned by the supervisor the following are basic duties and responsibilities:

  • Repair MRI Coils to the component level
  • Ability to operate a variety of electronic test equipment, read schematics and solder.
  • Ability to diagnose failures with limited documentation and customer information.
  • Proactively prioritize activities within fast paces work environment
  • Maintain workspace in an orderly and professional manner.
  • Ability to assemble, build, or reconstruct MRI system cables.
  • Supports safe operation of equipment in the manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Credentials and Experience:

  • Associates Degree required Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent electronics experience.
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical devices used in medical field.
  • Experience in an environment governed by ISO 9001& 13485.
  • U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident Alien

Special Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to work long hours and weekends as required.

Physical Requirements

  • The employee is frequently required to sit.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk.
  • Must possess sight/hearing senses to adequately perform the functions of the job.
  • The employee is regularly required to verbally communicate.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color.

  • May be required to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to manage and handle stressful and or demanding situations.

Working Relationship/Environment Exposure

  • Maintain relationships and open communication.
  • Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, where exposure

to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited.

  • Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal repair environment.
  • No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties.
  • Frequent contact with all levels of employees and management
