For this Job:

  • Oversees the daily workflow of your assigned fleet.
  • Trucks Assignation and Driver under your control.
  • Plan your drives based on they HOS availability.
  • Maximize profitability for your fleet.
  • Dispatch drivers with current assignments.
  • Assign driver moves on our system for tracking and payment
  • Track and trace loads (Update Brokers or Clients Systems).
  • Maintain constant communication with Drivers under his or her supervision.
  • Superverses and trainee your Driver managers to control (HOS) for drivers under your supervision.
  • Commit to receiver available Safety Training designed for our team.
  • Help couching DM’s to understand the hours-of-service and regulations if needed.
  • Other duties that might be needed from time to time.
  • Response to other task requested from Management.
  • Any other help needed requested within the weekly work shift.

What you bring:

  • Sound understanding of DOT regulations,
  • Proficient use of MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize and exhibit team player’s attitude
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.99 - $14.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Laredo, TX (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
