We are currently seeking a highly experienced and ambitious professional to join our team as the VP of Operations and Programs in the Satellite Communications industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and driving excellence in program management and operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SATCOM and a proven track record of success in leading operations teams.

As the VP of Operations and Programs, you will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategies to optimize operations, programs and customer experience. You will be responsible for providing program management oversight and managing and optimizing key operational processes, implementing performance metrics to measure and track progress, and identifying areas for improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of program and operational initiatives.

• Operations/Procurement/RMAs, Professional Services, 24/7/365 Technical Assistance Center, Training, Onsite Subject Matter Experts, Contracts, IT, Marketing and Facilities.
• Develop Program Management team to include current functional areas such as contracts, PLM, BD and supply
• Development and oversight of processes designed to drive efficiency and productivity based on annual business objectives.
• Drive the operational performance and capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction, retention, and company goals.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, new technologies, and market conditions relevant to the area and industry.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and governmental regulations.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of operational initiatives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing operations team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Monitor industry trends and stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in telecommunications operations.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the objectives of the organization.

• Bachelor's degree required Masters Degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the SATCOM industry, with a track record of success in operations and program management.
• 10 years of demonstrated senior-level leadership success managing a geographically distributed team.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and inspire a team.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing operational strategies to drive performance improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of SATCOM operations, including customer support, service delivery, and network operations.
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and services to customers.
• Individual will be: Self-motivated, competitive, organized, strong business background, with the ability to travel 20%.

Clearance: Top-Secret level DoD clearance or ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
