Job Position: Quality Control
Location: Romeoville, IL 60446
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
Shift: Third Shift
Description: QC Inspector * Inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications according to instructions and cycles using manual and electronic measuring instruments or visual quality inspection. * Inspect first/last piece of production run. * Approves or rejects inspected parts and informs immediately shift lead or operations manager of any non-conformance. * Makes sure non-conforming material is contained and labeled per established guidelines. * Populates VSPC data in computer system and completes inspection paperwork accordingly. * Arranges disposition of rework and/or non-conforming products or materials in a timely manner. * Reworks and/or sorts parts as needed or directed. * Verifies production and shipping lables to meet specifications. * Establishes and maintains communication and information flow about any quality issues with shift preceding and subsequent Quality Inpectos; creates daily reports. * Supports continuous improvement activities and makes recommendations ot supervisor or management * Will be trained on 1st shift for two weeks Dress Code: Casual attire; no loose, hanging, open or inappropriate clothes, no shorts. Shoes in good condition and capable of protecting feet and toes, no open shoes. Safety Notes/Requirements No cell phones, radios, food on the floor. Ear Plugs in Hearing Conservation area (will be provided by Pollmann). Working Gloves for certain jobs (will be provided by Pollmann). Employees must be drug tested, background checked Have safety glasses, gloves and speak English. Must sign customer paper work
