Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, and leading a team of dedicated nurses.

Duties:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in nursing

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred
- Current California RN Licensure or Compact State
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing leadership roles
- In-depth understanding of resident rights and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in care planning and documentation
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Collaborative approach to patient care
- Experience working with doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Strong knowledge of pediatrics and long term care, preferred
- BCLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
- Flexibility to be available for on call situations as they arise in all areas they manage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
