Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
3 – 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Previous experience answering a multi-line phone system.
Must have excellent customer service skills, be well spoken, project a professional image and have a pleasant demeanor.
Required Skills:
¨ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
¨ Must possess the ability to multi-task a variety of responsibilities.
¨ Strong data-entry, typing, and 10-key skills.
¨ Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copier, fax and calculator.
¨ Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
¨ Ability to analyze data and develop a range of solutions.
¨ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
¨ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
¨ A basic understanding of medical billing procedures is desired.
