Gordon Water Systems is Hiring a Route Sales Representative Near Kalamazoo, MI

Our Route Sales Representatives are crucial ambassadors for our Company. There are many delivery positions out there. Being a Gordon Water Systems Route Sales Representative means that you bring an extra sizzle to your customers every day. Regular customers often become friends and acquaintances who look forward to seeing you. You bring energy, and enthusiasm to your customers when you deliver products that they depend on every day.

A day as a Route Sales Representative at Gordon Water Systems will contain physical deliveries, equipment repairs and paperwork.

Delivery approx. 80% of the time

  • 5-gallon and 3-gallon bottles of water
  • Coffee, and associated supplies
  • Filter changes
  • Salt delivery
  • Loading salt in brine tanks for customers
  • Cleaning, repairing coolers at customers’ site

Canvassing for new customers approx. 10% of the time

  • Making contacts with businesses that are not our customers that are on your route.

Office work approx. 10% of the time

  • Cleaning, repairing coolers at Gordon Water Systems
  • Completing paperwork associated with your customers

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge

  • High school graduate or equivalent certificate amount of knowledge
  • Problem solving skills
  • Able to lift more than 60lbs
  • Have a neat physical appearance
  • Must have valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Customer Service experience a plus
  • Mechanical Abilities a plus

Critical to doing this work is how you go about it. We need Representatives that are energetic and friendly. A positive mindset and team-oriented approach are key components to being successful at Gordon Water Systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
