Title: Cybersecurity Project Manager

Location: Edison, NJ

Length: 1 Year

Background and Experience:

• A general familiarity with cybersecurity, IT, or application development would be preferred.
• Experience working with remote resources.
• Demonstrated experience implementing scrum, agile, and/or lean project management techniques for small to medium sized teams.
• Primarily Remote but should be able to travel a couple times a year if required.
• Start time would be “soon”, but it’s not a “drop everything” kind of need.

Work Activities:

• Set up meetings for collaboration and keeping the attendees on task to achieve the desired outcome.
• Consolidation and reporting on escalation issues reported across the team for central management in a risk register.
• Ensuring the agreed objectives and success criteria are delivered on time and quality.
• Managing 3rd party vendors and managing multiple individuals and project aspects running concurrently
• Maintain capability roadmaps, new process or technology adoption plans, and general planning of long-term initiatives.
• Facilitate the breakdown of large activities into smaller tasks that can be completed by individual team members to prevent overloading team members.
• Facilitate and coordinate the development of team playbooks for cloud security, application security, and security architecture-based activities.
• Consolidate team updates on projects and non-project activities for reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage team request backlog for application and cloud security to ensure continual progress is being made.
• Facilitation of security architecture forum used to provide peer and cross discipline reviews used to establish guidelines/guardrails for system owners.
• Facilitate development or adoption of effective task management tools and techniques to improve efficiency of the team.
