Scrap Metal Yard in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Material Handler with Heavy Equipment (Grapple operator) to join our team. Your role will involve using the Grapple to grab and sort metals, load/unload metals to/from customer trucks, clean the yard and etc.

Duties:

- Perform tasks such as sorting and moving materials in yard as instructed
- Operate material equipment to unload metals from customer trucks (rolloff, end-dump)

- Load materials to the container loader with care of weight distribution
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Support/Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete projects on time

Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a scrap metal yard or similar environment
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them diligently
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of operating heavy machinery
- Valid driver's license
