About the Role

Our W2 Ministry Assistant oversees the administrative rhythms of our Worship team to help create an excellent and hospitable experience for everyone who attends a worship service at FBC. Their weekly tasks focus on serving our congregation, and the volunteers, and contractors serving on the W2 Team. They are a warm-hearted, servant leader who loves people. They will understand and love the FBC vision. They will help organize the team with efficiency, initiative and creative problem solving to ensure each team member is supported and has the resources needed to serve well under the direction of our Lead Pastor and Worship Pastor.

They will provide administrative support to our Worship Team by helping to plan and execute events, manage data, and coordinate volunteer communication & resources. They collaborate with the Ministry Assistant Team to synergize communication & processes. This position serves 15-20 hours a week, including Sunday mornings.

The Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about worship ministry
• Relational communication style, self-aware and teachable
• Strong organizational and technology skills
• Experienced in hospitality and excited about helping our team host more than 55 annual worship services and special events
• Energized by serving the team well through the administrative responsibilities needed to create a healthy and excellent worship experience and team culture
• Experience with and a love for cultivating, supporting and empowering volunteers
• Aligns with FBC’s mission, vision, strategy, and doctrine
