Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable specialist must be able to relate well to customers, and all levels of coworkers. A working knowledge of NetSuite is preferable.

Other essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Accounts Receivable Aging: Collect accounts due by contacting customers and working with Dealer Sales Rep to investigate circumstances of non-payment.
• Chargeback's: Investigate circumstances to resolve payment discrepancies with credit card chargebacks.
• Cash Flow Statements: Day-end and month-end balance statements and cash flow statements.
• Bank reconciliation: Assist Staff Accountant with Collection account discrepancies.
• Payment Processing: Updated receivables by monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions.
• Balancing credit card payments received; daily reconciliation of bank balance to ensure that expected funds are received in full.
• Daily journal entries (invoices, payments, and deposits); prepare and post journal entries.
• Work with Retail Store Manager to reconcile transactions and cash deposit on a daily basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Candidate must have ability to speak clearly, distinctly, and effectively; ability to coordinate and initiate actions necessary to implement decisions; ability to establish and maintain priorities to complete assignments by deadlines; skilled in verifying the accuracy and completeness of forms and reports. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn and use other software that we might have or acquire.
