GMS Construction is a family owned and operated concrete company located in Morgantown, WV. We specialize in concrete repair, finishing, and remodeling. We are looking for a Concrete Finisher to join our team.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm (some weekends)
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, cold)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical

Responsibilities:

• Operate hand tools such as chisels, grinders, etc. and various other hand tools such as saws, drills, etc.
• Cut concrete using various equipment such as concrete mixers, wheelbarrows, etc.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or trailers using hand tools such as pry bars and sledge hammers.
• Cleaning concrete using various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor cleaners, etc.
• Apply sealer using various sealers using hand tools such as nails, screws, etc. (e.g., on windows)
• Apply finish using various finishes using hand tools such as sandpaper grits, paint strippers, etc. (e.g., on doors)
• Maintain work areas in an orderly manner by cleaning and tidying up daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Concrete: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
