Franciscan Healthcare is looking to add an Accountant to our team. This position will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial data. Individuals who are self-motivated to learn new concepts and oversee various projects at the same time will thrive in this role!

Hours will include Monday-Friday, days.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for balancing the daily cash postings to the operating cash account.
• Oversees the bank reconciliation of the operating account at month end.
• Responsible for the accounting for Joyride Public Transit.
• Responsible for the 340B Drug Discount Program. Includes the monthly internal audits, education, and submitting data to 340B ESP.
• Write reports for Finance and other departments from EHR and finance software programs.
• Assists with the completion of the monthly financial statements and dashboard reports.
• Assists with maintaining the capital asset records.
• Assists with the audits, budget, and other reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Other Competencies

• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and to interact positively and productively with team members
• Skilled in using the computer and various software programs
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet unit needs
• Detail orientated
• Knowledge in generally accepted accounting principles
• Compliance with HIPAA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,301.40 - $90,045.28 per year
