Job Summary:

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service at all banquet and catering events. They will work closely with the entire banquet team to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to quality standards. The Banquet Server will assist with set-up, service, and tear-down of banquet events, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Set up banquet rooms according to the event orders

2. Ensure all pre-function areas, such as meeting rooms and storage areas, are clean and organized.

3. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance or answering questions as needed.

4. Serve food and beverages to guests according to established banquet service standards.

5. Monitor guest tables, ensuring all needs are met and special requests are accommodated.

6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining tables, stations, and service areas.

7. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and deliver them promptly.

8. Be knowledgeable about the menu items, including any allergens or special dietary requirements.

9. Collect and process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, or room charges.

10. Provide exceptional customer service, taking proactive steps to resolve any guest issues or concerns.

11. Assist with the tear-down and clean-up of banquet rooms and equipment after each event.

12. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food, equipment, and supplies.

13. Work collaboratively with other team members, including chefs, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

14. Attend all staff meetings and training sessions as required.

15. Perform other duties as assigned by the \Manager.

Qualifications:

1. Previous banquet serving experience preferred.

2. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

5. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle guest requests or concerns professionally.

6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
