JOB DESCRIPTION – Regional Administrator
NATURE OF WORK:
The Regional Administrator provides visionary leadership and manages the day to day operations of the assigned Center. The Regional Administrator will manage all aspects of the operational and administrative and reporting needs of the Center, doing so in an effective, efficient and fiscally responsible manner.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure that all operations of assigned Center run efficiently. Provide the leadership, management, oversite and vision necessary to ensure that the proper operational, administrative, and reporting systems to effectively manage and grow the organization are in place to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees or delegation of such; planning, assigning and directing direct reports or departmental work; appraising performance; facilitating teamwork, promoting a harmonious work environment; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Develop appropriate, comprehensive plans and strategies to accomplish goals and objectives associated with assigned Center. Work with direct reports to develop goals and objectives.
  • Assure that personal, individual, departmental and Center goals and objectives are well monitored, adjusted when required and communicated well to all parties necessary for successful completion.
  • Works with direct reports to establish departmental performance standards as well as goals and objectives, and monitors operationally.
  • Use available data to analyze, monitor, and report statistical information for timely management decisions and as required for federal, state and local agencies.
  • Assists with the development of; and is responsible for the management of the operational budget of the assigned Center.
  • Participates as directed in the development, execution and annual review of the written policies/procedures governing the services the clinic provides.
  • Participates in management team meetings and attends other regular internal and external departmental and assigned committee meetings to discuss progress in meeting various organization goals.
  • Works closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President in the direction of clinical services, initiating and implementing operational policies and procedures in the position’s regional responsibilities.
  • Assists in the investigation of reports received regarding services. 
  • Prepares related correspondence and/or documentation and recommends corrective action when necessary in conjunction with Human Resources.
  • Delegates authority and responsibility as appropriate.
  • Undertakes special projects as directed by the CEO or designee.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Health Administration, or closely related field.
BSN or MSN with accompanying operations management considered.
A minimum of five (5) years of successful management of all aspects of operational services in a healthcare setting, preferably comprehensive outpatient clinics.
Demonstrated success in increasing practice volume and revenue with successful patient outcome.

This is a FLSA Exempt position
