First Source Worldwide, LLC. (FSW) is recruiting for a Maintenance Associate to join the team. The work schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to grow with the company.

FSW manufactures and distributes tailor-made chemicals and colorants. We focus on sourcing quality chemical and dye products for use across multiple industries and applications including leather, textile, paper, coatings, carpet, wood, HI&I, and more.

The Maintenance Associate will:

- Ensure safety of self and others by following procedures and avoiding incidents.

- Propose, perform, and oversee maintenance projects directed and/or approved by management.

- Perform routine scheduled and PM checklists on building and equipment and maintain records of maintenance performed.

- Track and record repairs requested and performed.

- Make repairs in a timely manner to ensure operations run smoothly and consistently.

- Ensure all safety systems (i.e. fire, sprinkler, alarm, surveillance, security) are maintained and operating correctly.

- Respond to emergencies on the property (this may include on-call; not yet TBD).

- Keep all tools in good working condition and stored appropriately in work station; propose purchases for new equipment as needed.

- Maintain cleanliness of workspace and any station where work is performed; ensure all tools are accounted for and returned to appropriate location at the end of each job.

- All other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Associate will need:

- A High school degree or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, plumbing, welding, domestic water systems, cameras and security systems, fire alarm systems, concrete patching, dry wall installations, tape and paint work, and other general maintenance practices

- Ability to analyze facility and equipment issues and troubleshoot appropriate next action for repairs

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property and institutions

- Attention to detail

- Ability to lift 50 lbs independently

- Must be able to stand for the entire shift

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test, post-employment offer

- Maintaining a valid, current state Driver's License will be required for the purpose of driving company vehicles, equipment, etc.
