Flooring & Accessories, Inc. is seeking a Measure Technician that possesses great attention to detail and quality, is reliable, and has a positive attitude! 

The countertop measure technician will be responsible for using our state of the art Laser Template Equipment to provide detailed and accurate counter top dimensions to our fabrication department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Look ahead at our schedule and prepare for all upcoming projects. This includes understanding material selections and layout.

· Arriving at scheduled appointments at customer locations within agreed-upon and scheduled window of time. 

· Measure using laser equipment for and assemble templates that would serve as exact dimensions for the stone/granite/marble applications, in conjunctions with the job specifications.

· Complete work orders by making notations for all required measurements, polished edges, cutouts, radius corners, and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the job. 

· Confirm any missing information (such as missing faucets specs, missing cooktop specs, etc.) regarding the job with onsite customer or job super. 

· Provide critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation process.

· Communicate with clients to confirm arrival times, job site issues, and project procedures/protocol. 

· Leaving from your home, you will follow your daily schedule and drive to our customer’s home or jobsite location with a provided company vehicle.

· You will upload the data and communicate job details to the fabrication shop. 

· Communicate any relevant information about the job to the salesperson, operations staff or production staff on a timely basis.

· Complete all necessary paperwork and photos to hand-off to office staff within 24 hours from the time of templating.

Qualifications: 

· Strong computer skills.

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written. 

· Must have strong customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously.

· Ability to work as part of a team and also be able to work autonomously when necessary.

· Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, lift, squat and stand for long periods. 

· Excellent attention to detail is a must! 

· Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed.

· Experience using a laser template system and or using CAD software for creating countertop drawings is preferred but not required. 

· A strong understanding of construction with a food mathematical aptitude. 

· Previous experience installing granite, quartz of Solid surface is a plus, but not required. 

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check. 

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
