EMMI Physician Services, Inc. is a medical practice management and billing company looking to fill the position of Medical Biller. This is a full-time position located in the Denver West Business Park. Candidate must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm in the office. (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REMOTE POSITION).

Job responsibilities of a Medical Biller may include:

• Medical claims billing and processing through health insurance providers.
• Maintaining an AR and submitting appeals, using provider portals and phone communication to ensure proper processing.
• Providing excellent customer support and communication to patients by phone.
• Understanding and abiding by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) when communicating with insurance representatives, providers, patients, and patient representatives.
• Data entry.

Minimum requirements for the candidate:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, and typing ability of 40 wpm with ability to 10 key.
