Our Gastroenterology office is seeking to hire a full-time experienced Medical Assistant to join our practice.
In this role, you can expect to perform the following duties:
- Perform patient intake and history.
- Explain procedures and preps.
- Complete prescriptions refill requests and enter diagnostic tests and lab requisitions.
- Chart Prep
- Clean and stock exam rooms
- Assist with patient call backs and prior authorizations for medications and radiology exams.
- Travel to satellite location in Sun City Center, with mileage reimbursement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
