Great Opportunity to work for a Premier Bridal Boutique! We are looking for a Seamstress Designer!

Elite Bridal Secrets is a bridal boutique that combines excellence with style and grace. We are looking for a highly skilled seamstress who is innovative in the fashion and design industry. This individual keeps up with the trends and does it with style! The ideal candidate will display excellence, has an eye for quality, a wonderful demeanor and works with a sense of urgency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately measuring using tape measures to ensure proper fit of garments.
• Employ multiple strategies (machine stitch, hand sew) to create high-end designs.
• Follow quality control guidelines, inspect designs to ensure high-end condition prior to completion.
• Troubleshoot redesign challenges using creativity and an eye for design.
• Altering or repairing garments and other articles, which includes hemming, mending, lengthening, as well as taking in and letting out seams.
• Fitting garments to determine how the alterations should be done.
• Labeling garments and articles and recording the alterations required.
• Communicating with clients to determine their specifications, needs, and preferences.
• Press, steam, and spot clean garments as necessary.

Experience/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years sewing experience
• Bridal experience, preferred
• Must be detailed-oriented
• Trained on patterns
• Double stitching
• Customization experience
• Bridal or evening wear (fine fabrics)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently
