Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct and report physical products inventory, elaborate reports, and forecast usage.
- Work with Assistant General Manager to analyze food cost and prepare justification report.
- Control food cost to meet or exceed the standard.
- Review and ensure that the correct brand standards are utilized when ordering and preparing food.
- Supervise and Enforce standards for associates as they are preparing and delivering food.
- Monitor and control food waste.
- Helps to ensure appropriate staffing plan and maintains adequate staffing and scheduling levels..
- Assists with orientation and training of new employees.
- Ensures effective employee relations.
- Maintains all kitchen sanitation levels to comply with local laws and Marriott standards.
- Monitors safety and security procedures; Ensures kitchen equipment effective maintenance.
- 1-2 years related work experience
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a day. Ability to lift push pull up to 50lbs,
- Must be able to follow verbal directions, and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
