The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a Fuels and NRM Data Technician position to work in the grant-administered US Forest Service ACES Program (55 years of age or older) at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, in Parks Falls, WI.
Role and Responsibilities: This position's primary responsibilities are to enter, edit, and validate management activities into the FS database, mentor new employees on duties required for maintaining data records, and ensure records management principles are followed in all aspects of the fire and fuels program. This part-time position is designed to fill capacity gaps during peak fire season. Duties include but are not limited to performing the following:
Qualifications and Education Requirements: Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; possess an AA degree or certificate and 10 years of relevant experience in a related field; familiarity with FACTS system (spatial and tabular); knowledge and experience with fire and fuels management activities, terms, and administration; experience with computer systems and file management; knowledge of records management principles.
Hours & Compensation: Part-time position working 10 hours per week @ $34.99 per hour.
