Full job description Receive milk while maintaining high food quality standards.
Applicants must have a good stable work history as well as dairy plant experience.
Our intake opens at 6:00am and closes at 5:00pm, seven days a week 365 days per year. You will work as part of a 5 person crew covering these days and times. Once trained you will split the weekends with the rest of the team. The team sets the schedule best to fit all of your needed time off. Your primary weekly shift starting out will be 7:00am - 3:30pm. Once trained you will move into a floating worker in the plant with the emphisis on intake work. At this time you will work anywhere starting at 4:00 am and finishing by 5:30pm depending on the assigned job.

The intake area has three large doors that open and close all day long. Cedar Valley does its best to keep the working temps around 65 degrees during the fall, winter, and spring. The summer months can be a warmer. The air is constantly moving to keep the air fresh. During sanitation, you may be exposed to wet, humid, damp conditions.
