Position Description:
We are looking for a shop & maintenance helper to drive the forklift and other production tasks. Position Responsibilities:
Daily inspection of forklifts
Dump chips from machines into outdoor chip bins
Empty garbage
Recycle wood and cardboard
Clean shop floors
Move parts to next resource
Part mark parts
Assist Maintenance with daily tasks
Assist with 6S activities
Qualifications: Education and Experience -
High School Diploma or GED required.
Hard working
Ability to follow directions explicitly
Excellent attendance
Ability to drive a forklift and zamboni
Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry:
Regularly: Up to 20 lbs
Occasionally: Up to 40 lbs
Lifting assistance required: Over 50 lbs Total Compensation: The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity.
