Commercial Real Estate Assistant Property Manager

Northern California Commercial/Industrial Full Service Real Estate Company, since (1955), seeks an experienced Assistant Property Manager for a Silicon Valley Portfolio of Retail, Industrial and Office Properties. Will be engaged in the full service operational, marketing, leasing, and financial management of key commercial real estate assets of clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Manager with select properties within the portfolio
• Assisting the Manager in the marketing, leasing, construction management and maintenance management of the various properties
• Reviewing financial statements and accounting reports
• Reconciling operating expenses
• Preparing and reviewing leases, addendums, and amendments
• Preparing and managing vendor agreements
• Meeting with Tenants to establish and maintain tenant relations
• Develop and assist with property reports and budgeting
• Showing vacancies in retail, industrial and office properties
• Inspecting and ensuring that properties are well maintained
• Assisting in managing the installation of improvements to the properties
• Issuing invoices and collecting all revenue from the tenants
• Coding and paying all invoices
• Handling all other property ownership and management issues that may arise

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial/industrial property management experience
• Requires a CA Real Estate License
• Highly motivated and responsible individual with an ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented individual
• Ability to multi-task
• Positive and energetic personality
• Leasing experience
• Strong understanding of leases and contracts
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience: Skyline Accounting Software: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: CA Real Estate License

Pay: Commensurate with experience in Commercial/Industrial Real Estate.
