We are looking for both experienced dental assistants and people who are interested in learning dental assisting.
Position Description Summary:
Responsible for helping the dentists and hygienists with dental procedures and making the patients experience a comfortable one.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Assists dentists and hygienists with procedures
Sets up treatment rooms
Dental charting
Dental x-rays
Dental photos and scans
Maintains a safe work environment and operates within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines.
Education/Experience
One to two years experience in dental assisting preferred, however applicants without experience are welcome to apply
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational abilities
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures (or will train)
Ability to maintain attention to detail
An independent worker; ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Above average customer service skills
