Assistant Activity Director Responsibilities:
- As an assistant activity director, you will assist your activity director with the implementation of activity initiatives for residents at your nursing home.
- You will assist with scheduling events that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional health.
- You will provide consistent supervision of activity aides, their duties, documentation and work habits.
- You will help all your residents engage in a meaningful way that promotes well-being and social cohesion.
Requirements
Assistant Activity Director Qualifications:
- Experience in nursing home activities, required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- Valid and current activity director certification.
- Excellent empathetic and interpersonal skills.
