BelPres is committed to partner with Jesus to further his kingdom on the Eastside and in the places around the world to which he calls us. To do this, we are focusing on four areas: community, discipleship, racial justice and healing, and equipping and empowering every generation to reach and engage young families. The Impact You’ll Be Making

As a critical part of the Kids & Students Team, you will engage and form families, parents, and students as you develop biblical, theological, and developmental framework for high school ministry in light of BelPres’ vision. You will manage and disciple student ministry leaders, recruiting, equipping, and empowering them to disciple students and their families. You will lead students in a variety of settings (Sunday worship, camps, retreats, and discipleship trips) and collaborate across departments to develop and implement other events to serve students. You will also serve on leadership team for ReNew, a shared ministry with Eastside Academy, to serve students in need of stable housing and support.

Who We Are Looking For

Skills & Knowledge

• Personal and growing commitment to Jesus Christ and a commitment to the mission of BelPres
• Demonstrated passion for kids and their spiritual development
• Three years of experience in student ministry preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within a team environment as well as work collaborate to create better outcomes
• Strong relational skills and the ability to win the affection and trust of both students and adults
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with people at every level of the organization
• Demonstrated understanding of the spiritual, mental, and emotional development of adolescents
• Demonstrated experience working with multi-cultural communities
• Demonstrated ability to engage large groups of students and adults in recreational activities as well as in a more formal learning environment
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, equipping, coaching, and celebrating volunteers
• Ability to occasionally travel with students for camps, retreats, and discipleship trips, including willingness to receive all required immunizations
• Bachelor degree in ministry, education, or child development preferred
