Job Overview:
Bethlehem Lutheran Childcare is seeking a number of dedicated Childcare Providers to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a passion for early childhood education. The ideal candidate must also have faith in Jesus Christ and be willing to teach accordingly with The Lutheran Faith Tradition in their classrooms. We are currently staffing the following classrooms;
Preschool 2
Preschool 3
Preschool 4/5
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the well-being of each child in your care at all times
- Supervise children during playtime and mealtime
- Assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines
Skills:
- Caregiving experience with children
- Classroom management skills
- Previous experience in nannying or childcare settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to manage behavior effectively
- First aid certification is a plus
- Special education background is beneficial
- Ability to educate and engage children in learning activities
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum
