Bartlein & Company, Inc. is Hiring a Property Manager Assistant/Administrative Assistant Near Santa Barbara, CA

PROPERTY MANAGER ASSISTANT

Bartlein & Company, Inc. is a professional property management company located in Santa Barbara. We are currently seeking a full time Property Manager Assistant to assist in the daily administrative functions of managing rental properties. This position is a great introduction for those interested in getting involved in the Property Management industry.

Minimum Job requirements

· 2 years office experience and/or customer service

· 1 year experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, data entry and scanning

· Valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proper auto insurance

The ideal candidate will possess

· Exceptional attention to detail & follow thru on tasks

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong customer service skills

· Highly organized, flexible, able to multi task, handle pressure & deadlines, be a self-starter

· Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

This position will work directly with a Property Manager and provide the following support

· Perform move in / move out inspections at various properties & locations (many with multiple floors)

· Enter work orders & follow up on open work orders

· Take repair calls; analyze and trouble shoot problems

· Prepare correspondence as needed

· Regular communication with tenants, vendors, clients, peers, and management

· Post notices as needed

· Copy and mail newsletters

· Assemble escrow and refinance packets

· Other duties as assigned

You will receive proper training, provided that you have the above experience and qualifications. We offer a 37.5 hour work week. Monday – Friday from 8:30a to 5p with an occasional Saturday from 9a – 3p, benefits package, mileage reimbursement and a non-smoking environment. The starting annual salary is $37,200 with a compensation review at 90 days.
