Description

Join Banner Associates’ award-winning workplace as a Civil Engineering Technician in our Virtual Design and Construction Department! Our Virtual Design and Construction Department handles a variety of challenging civil design projects, and we are seeking top-notch candidates with a balance of creativity and technical skills. The person in this position will use CADD software - Civil 3D to produce detailed construction drawings, topographical profiles, maps, and more as needed for planning / construction of Banner projects. This person can expect time in the field as well, assisting with surveying and construction observation. We need someone with strong communication skills to help address questions from clients, staff, and the public, and occasionally help train new employees and interns. 

Qualifications:

• Associate of Science degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology / Architectural Drafting Design. Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may be considered. 
• Understanding of Design Flow: Conceptual Design – Design Development – Construction Documents – Bidding – Construction Administration.
• Ability to become proficient with CADD Software, especially Civil 3D. 
• Solid understanding of Construction.
• Work within a Team environment.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license.
