Job description
ANG SIGNAL is looking for an AI/Machine Learning Specialist to join our team supporting the federal government. In this role, the candidate will join a team that works on the development and deployment of AI-based projects. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with popular machine learning frameworks and be proficient in utilizing AI-assisted applications and tools to streamline project workflows, enhance decision-making processes, and improve operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and deployment of AI-based projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
• Work within project timelines and budgets to use resources effectively, consistently delivering high-quality AI solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI project objectives, success metrics, and KPIs, ensuring projects delivered tangible business value
• Implement data visualization tools and techniques to communicate complex AI and machine learning concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Attend status and projects meetings to discuss, schedule, prioritize tasks, and progress of projects
• Collaborate with a team of highly-skilled and experienced engineers and developers
• Review customer satisfaction feedback and use constructive feedback as a learning tool

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with common AI assistance tools – AWS Machine Learning and Sagemaker preferred
• Hands-on experience with popular machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras) for developing predictive models and deep learning applications
• Knowledge of how to utilize AI-assisted applications and tools to streamline project workflows, enhance decision-making processes, and improve operational efficiencies.
• Personal drive, and ability to see projects through to execution
• Strong organizational skills
• Possesses strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

This is a hybrid position that will require time on-site in Silver Spring, MD.
