Office Furniture Sales - New West Palm Beach Location

Freedman’s Office Furniture is an online and retail office furniture dealer who manufactures their own exclusive line of cubicles and desks headquartered in Tampa, FL.

Position Overview

Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a passion for creating opportunities? We are building a highly motivated sales team for our new West Palm location. This position has the potential to go Full Time. The ideal candidate will be someone who can generate leads, enjoys cold calling, and is highly motivated to close sales. We're looking for someone with great people skills in order secure new clientele and maintain existing clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, visits, and other proactive sales techniques
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to sales, with a willingness to take initiative and generate new business opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale, to ensure repeat business
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
  • Meet and greet walk in & phone customers
  • Maintain contact with our current customer base
  • Follow-up diligently on leads provided through Freedman’s Office Furniture marketing department
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and meetings

Sales Process

  • Educate customer on exclusive products, in house collections and nationwide shipping
  • Qualify the client’s needs. Conduct a thorough needs analysis to understand their requirements for workspace products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive solutions-based presentations, either virtually or in-person, that align to a customer-centric strategy of either return on investment, money saved, or revenues increased.
  • Partner with other resources within the organization to develop and deliver detailed, accurate, and professional looking quotes in a timely and professional manner.

Sales Implementation

  • Ensure that the closed sale can be effectively and efficiently processed by all supporting areas of the Freedman’s Office Furniture organization.
  • Obtain signed sales proposals, terms and conditions, and any other client-facing items necessary to process the sale (including deposits as required).
  • Stay involved throughout the implementation of the project to ensure that any changes in scope are identified and resolved, and that all parties are satisfied.

Goals and Performance

  • Achieve quarterly and yearly sales, margin, and business development goals as set by the reporting manager.
  • Maintain a current and accurate pipeline, including all leads and opportunity activities.

Requirements (Education & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of outside sales experience is required
  • 4 years’ retail experience a plus
  • Professional communication skills and confidence working with business owners and C-suite level clients
  • Competitive and driven to exceed sales goals
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn to be expert in field
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • PC proficiency and strong skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel), Social Media Channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
