Description
Elite Sourcing LLC is partnering with a prestigious law firm in the industry, who is seeking a skilled and dedicated Paralegal with experience in Insurance Defense Litigation, to join their team. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with various litigation matters, ensuring smooth case flow and efficient legal operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to further their career in the field of litigation. Excellent Pay, up to $70K
In this role, you will work closely with attorneys to prepare legal documents, manage case files, conduct legal research, and assist with trial preparation. You will also have the opportunity to interact with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in litigation support, is detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Assist with case management and organization.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Assist with discovery requests and responses.
  • Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare trial exhibits and trial notebooks.
  • Assist attorneys in courtroom proceedings.
  • Maintain and update case files and databases.
  • Manage calendars and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies is a bonus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, procedures, and legal terminology.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms and case management software.
  • Experience with: Acrobat, Office, WestLaw, LexisNexis, CaseMap, TextMap.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
