Title: Enrichment Student Support Teacher
Position Overview: Park City Day School, a small, independent Toddler through Grade 8 school located in Park City, UT, seeks a passionate, creative, and energetic educator to join our team for the 2024-25 school year as a part-time enrichment teacher to work with groups of students within the student support program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support and teach small groups by enriching and extending their homeroom academics (Literacy or math) or other high interest topics
Develop and deliver lessons to small groups of students qualified for enrichment
Communicate effectively with teachers around the development of materials
Communicate to families about enrichment classes
Help to develop the enrichment model, qualification process, and communication of that to the PCDS community
May lead intervention groups and help the student support department
Assist in assessment of students
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience working with children in an organized setting.
Demonstrated understanding of child development
Demonstrated willingness to be creative and bring in new activities for the group.
Evidence of strong organizational skills, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of DIBELS and MAP assessments

A bachelor's degree
Background in special education or literacy/ math intervention
