Allied is a strongly process-driven company. Our in-house programming team has developed software specific to our needs to ensure consistency of production and performance.

As we continue to expand, we are looking to fill additional positions in our Purchasing and Production Planning Department.

The individual selected for this position will have the opportunity to interface with our customers, vendors, and internal personnel. The main focus will be to purchase, plan, and schedule materials required to meet production needs, and ensure production schedules are executed in a timely manner to meet customer needs.

Some of the duties of this position include:

· Purchasing and scheduling raw materials to meet production and delivery requirements.

· Interacting with vendors to maintain strong support of the company and to facilitate customer orders.

· Ensuring that customer specifications are met.

Requirements:

· Customer Service skills and the ability to work in a team environment

· Ability to negotiate and work with vendors

· Strong computer skills and ability to learn our proprietary software systems

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work in high-paced work environment with strong attention to detail

· Ability to be effective and highly productive both as an individual and as a team member

· Experience in a manufacturing environment with a good understanding of the manufacturing process is a plus
