As a Microbiology Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of cannabis products in compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing on cannabis products to guarantee compliance with regulatory standards.
• Execute a range of microbiological tests, including total yeast and mold count, coliforms, E. coli, and Salmonella, using validated methods.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to guarantee precision and reliability in test results.
• Prepare and analyze samples following established protocols and procedures.
• Record and document test results accurately and maintain organized records.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the lab team to ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory.
• Assist in the development, validation, and quality control of testing methods.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the cannabis industry and relevant regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a microbiology laboratory setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in microbiological testing methods and techniques.
• Experience with qPCR a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cannabis testing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to meticulous work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
