POSITION SUMMARY

Perform multiple work functions and operate associated production equipment within the pre-lube seal operations area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

• Operate and maintain spray coating equipment to evenly coat and cure seals.
• Install, align and lock specified punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims and hand tools.
• Set up, operate and maintain machines that press together seal components, as directed by standard work instructions.
• Set up, operate and maintain machines that grease seals, as directed by standard work instructions.
• Set up, operate and maintain equipment that assist in the manual and automatic packing of processed product, as directed by standard work instructions.
• Stage pack-out station for external customers with boxes or for internal customers with storage bins, in accordance with standard work instructions.
• Perform ongoing inspection of parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Notify leadership of production problems, alarms or faults and assist in analyzing and correcting these problems.
• Perform required cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment.

The ideal candidate will be able to work up to a 12-hour shift and have some manufacturing experience.
