Our **Shift Managers** focus on delivering outstanding customer service and managing our Hourly Crewmembers. Working under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager, Shift Managers become skilled at effective leadership. Shift Managers are able to effectively run shift operations, motivate their Hourly Crewmembers and are responsible for the financial performance of the restaurant. Restaurant Shift Managers are fully trained to be proficient in all areas of our restaurant and its operations.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will:

* Recognize problems and problem solve

* Set goals and convert plans into action

* Manage basic tasks and lead, motivate, and empower the restaurants Crewmembers

* Communicate clearly and effectively to our customers and the Crewmembers.

* Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

* Display a positive, cheerful, and enthusiastic personality in all assignments.

* Effectively develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel and work as part of a team by helping others as needed.

* Provide exceptional customer service.

* Adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency.

* Demonstrate full knowledge of the menu.

* Be able to follow instructions for recipes and food safety guidelines.

* Have a high school diploma (or equivalent) - basic math and reading skills required.

* On occasion, may be required to lift and carry up to fifty pounds.
