Overall Purpose of the Job

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

* Coordinate & manage the manufacturing of complex components.

* Gain basic understanding of drawings, additional knowledge and skills of SAP, Microsoft Office, and Expro's management systems.

* Concentrate on various manufacturing requests.

* Order materials based on specifications (internal and external) for applicable assembly jobs.

* Create SAP work orders and PR's to manufacture goods.

* Outsource equipment/parts following internal quoting guidelines.

* Coordinate and manage jobs until completion, including cost management.

* Understand types of materials required for manufacturing components.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

* Requires knowledge of manufacturing processes.

* Requires knowledge of material grades.

* Ability to read/use manuals, guidelines, drawings and specifications to perform job duties.

* Follow and complete all documentation, as required, during the course of work being performed, i.e. routers, work orders, in-house inspection sheets.

* Time management and organization skills are required.

* Background/experience in manufacturing and/or a technical degree are a plus.

* Basic computer skills necessary.

* Ability to communicate with different levels staff/customers/vendors.
