Fast Appliance Repair, Inc. is looking for a talented Appliance Service Technician to join our team! Fast Appliance Repair provides service to residents of PA, NJ, DE, and MD. As an Appliance Service Technician, you are a key member of the team responsible for quality, efficient in-home repairs of Major Appliances. Start each day being dispatched from your home in a company vehicle. Cell-phone, tablet, support team, and many other resources also provided. Our technicians are the face of our organization, so outstanding customer service that exceeds our client's expectations is a must. Responsibilities:
- In-Home repair of Major Appliances
- Accurately diagnose and repair laundry and kitchen appliances in the customer's home
- Research and order repair parts needed on a company-supplied tablet device
- Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
- Complete work orders electronically with description of work performed using tablet.
- Good communication with office and team members utilizing text, phone, Microsoft Teams, email, etc.
Qualifications:
- Pass an industry standard PlusOne employment screening, which includes:
- Criminal Background Check
- Drug Test
- Driver's License Check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proficiency to navigate computer and tablet-based technology
- The ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform repair work under varied circumstances
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- EPA Sealed System Certification a plus!
