Responsibilities
•Ensure up-to-date information within insurance company databases to effectively drive sales and current customers
•Resolve billing, policy change, coverage, and insurance claims issues using exemplary customer service skills
•Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling
•Present existing and prospective customers with individualized policy options, quote calculations, and educational materials to meet their needs
•Check insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits to determine whether modifications are necessary
Qualifications
•Must hold a valid, state-issued insurance license(s): Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License
•Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs; experience using agency management systems considered a plus
•Prior experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines
•Deep knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their limits and value propositions
•Goal-oriented sales approach and effective collaboration skills are needed
