The greeter associate is responsible for greeting all visitors and customers who enter the building. Greeters are primarily responsible for ensuring that visitors are signed into the visitor log and accounted for during the duration of their visit or for validating the identification of a customer entering the store to purchase. Greeters are responsible for operating within the Maine Adult Use program guidelines per East Coast Cannabis’ best practices and maintaining an individual identification card issued by the Office of Cannabis Policy, State of Maine.
Greeter Responsibilities:
rs security systems for customers at the store entrance, permitting access to customers on an individual basis after verifying the customer’s age via valid identification.
Follows ECC protocols for customer verification and first purchase onboarding, collecting and retaining customer identification per Maine regulations.Captures all required data from entering customers including name, age & DOB, zip code, state, ID expiration and ID number. Inputs customer information data into the POS software.
Signs non-customer visitors into the Visitor Log, assigning and providing a visitor badge for the individual to wear upon entering the facility. Ensures identification meets state requirements for limited area access visitors and appropriately fills out the visitor log with the validated information.
Answers phones and online messages within brand standards and following customer service protocols, including email inbox and online digital reviews.
Presents discount options to customers when appropriate before granting access to the store.
Demonstrates proficient product knowledge and an ability to accurately represent all retail products to ECC brand standards. Relays product knowledge, specifications and information to customers as a representative of the East Coast Brand, using language and information in line with brand values and standards.
Performs basic inventory management including daily counts and reconciliation and follows company best practices for inventory storage, handling and movement as assigned by leadership.
Merchandises and zones store inventory to maintain brand aesthetics as appropriate given customer flow and or as instructed by leadership.
Follows ECC security best practices and basic protocols.
Performs basic maintenance and updates to in-house menus, displays and literature.
Researches industry trends and educational resources as delegated by leadership.
Daily cleaning and maintenance of the retail store to include bathrooms, floors, general dusting, displays, and any other maintenance tasks as delegated by leadership.
