Do you love pets AND providing excellent customer service? Would you like to spend your day speaking with happy pet owners: booking boarding, daycare and grooming appointments? Assisting in handling pets at drop off and pickup, ensuring clients feel comfortable leaving their pet, and being involved when they return? Rexpointe is in very high demand- and we are looking for additional assistance in the office to help provide our clients the quick and friendly assistance they're accustomed to. In general we have two office staff working per shift to keep things running smoothly and efficiently- so you will never be responsible for all of the work load on your own.

Full or Part time position available.

Experience required: Looking for someone with previous work history in pet care industry such as veterinary, grooming or kennel positions. Applicant should have an existing knowledge of dog breeds, routine/core vaccinations, knowledge of pet boarding/daycare/grooming industries.

Duties will include:

• Answering phone calls
• Booking appointments/reservations for grooming, boarding and daycare with computer based booking software
• Responding to client emails
• Checking clients in and out, handling payments
• Must be physically able to handle all size dogs and cats
• Some cleaning will be required
• Filing, record keeping

This is not just a desk job- you will be active/on your feet while assisting customers dropping off and picking up their pets.

Competitive pay, plus tips biweekly and industry related benefits. Currently hiring for afternoon/Evening shift on weekdays: 3p to 9pm, plus occasional weekend shifts Saturday: 7:30a-5:30p, Sundays 12p-9p Applicant must be available for up to 2 weekend shifts per month. Alternate schedules available depending on the skills/experience/qualifications of the applicant.

We are looking for someone interested in working long term- as this position takes several months to become fully trained in all aspects of the job. There is room for growth within our company for those interested in making a career in the pet care industry.
