Accounts Receivable Clerk

Duties:
- Perform data entry of financial transactions, including debits and credits
- Assist with efforts to collect outstanding payments
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Negotiate payment terms with clients as needed

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
