Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the incumbent will perform a variety of duties in support of TURA information technology. Special assignments may be given, such as: assisting other departments or during the company’s annual inventory. Also helping with additional duties as needed. These assignments will be within the incumbent’s abilities, and related to the functions of TURA, Inc.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
· Execute all assigned jobs.
· Execute the daily, weekly, Monthly & quarterly IT processes.
· Monitor the performance of Servers, sub-systems and computer peripherals.
· Maintain the updates of the operations manual.
· Receiving and storage of equipment and supplies. (Toner, Envelopes, Etc.)
· Installations, upgrade of computer systems. (Vmware Horizon desktops, laptops, desktops, Mac & Windows).
· Provide technical support to all users through the MIS Helpdesk & Phone.
· Monitor job queue processes in NAV ERP system & manually create Picks when requested.
· Check and monitor Sophos Antivirus.
· Check ensure Personal Computer Backups are being completed and up to date.
· Assist in resource allocation on servers.
· Print and stuff Customer Credits(Daily) and Statements(Weekly).
· Maintain a clean personal work area.
· Complete special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.
· Work as a team player in a team oriented environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Windows 11,VMWARE View.
· Working knowledge of Apple products—iPhone, iPad, iOS, MacBook, OS
· Experience with troubleshooting PC, server & printer hardware is a plus.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Great verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, which are listed above.
Education and Experience:
· Computer literacy and knowledge of related hardware is essential to this position.
· Minimum of a two-year associate degree or equivalent work experience in a computer related field.
· Previous experience in an IT environment is preferable, but not required.
Physical Requirements: The work requires frequent walking, lifting/carrying (generally up to 40 pounds), reaching, bending, stooping, sitting for long periods of time and manual dexterity sufficient for keyboard use. Work requires the ability to see and work from computer screens.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some overtime will be required.
